Eagle County Charter Academy community creates lifelong learners and productive global citizens through a challenging college preparatory curriculum and character education. We accomplish this through an empowered staff, parental involvement, and small class size.

Eagle County Charter Academy will be the premier school in educating students for the future demands of our changing world in a pluralistic society.

Our Goals

Our primary objective is to assist our students in preparing for college and achieving success, while also equipping them with the necessary skills for a purposeful, service-oriented, and leadership-driven life. We strive to empower our graduates to contribute towards making the world a better place through local, national, and global involvement.

Building Community

At Eagle County Charter Academy in Edwards, Colorado, building a strong sense of community is at the heart of the student experience. Through meaningful relationships, family involvement, and a supportive learning environment, students, teachers, and parents work together to create a culture where every child feels connected, valued, and empowered to succeed.

The teachers and administration at this school are amazing. They set high expectations while developing critical thinkers and independent learners. Mill Levy Override Ballot Question 5B

Strong schools are the foundation of a strong community – they’re why families move here, why businesses invest here, and why our kids can build their futures here. ECSD is already feeling the impact of inadequate school funding. This past spring, the district cut more than $4 million and eliminated approximately 60 jobs for the 2026-2027 school year – resulting in reductions in programming and electives for students, and more challenges in retaining and recruiting necessary staff. All of this impacts our students and our local quality of life.
